Pets

We love and welcome your pets, but you MUST have permission and we do charge a fee for the privilege of accommodating your pet. Allowing pets also requires extra cleaning on our part. The NON-REFUNDABLE pet fee is $10 per night or $50 per week for the first pet. Half price for each additional pet.

This is a privilege extended to OUR GUESTS ONLY. We do not allow you to keep friends and families pets when they have lodging elsewhere. We are not a kennel.

Common sense, courtesy, and respect for others (humans and animals alike) is expected. Leashed pets are safe pets, and our cats feel safer too! Some people and some dogs are NOT dog friendly, so please don't let your dog run up to others.

We do not mind if your pet stays in the room without you IF they are quiet and, of course, not destructive. We don't even mind if they hop on the furniture, but we ask that you bring along "pet covers" for the furniture and beds. If you forget, please ask and we will loan you some. You will be held accountable for any damage caused by your pet.

We have an ample green space around the motel, but ask that you try to walk your pet as far away from the buildings as possible, and you MUST pick up after them. If you need some bags for this, please ask and we will gladly give you some.

We highly recommend a current rabies vaccination and an ID tag. Better safe than sorry. Your pet may not have fleas and ticks, but Hatteras Island is infested! Please treat your pet with preventative PRIOR to your arrival.
